Nerds, celebrities, and content creators unite in Hollywood to rebuild LA, with all proceeds benefiting United Way Greater Los Angeles.
Los Angeles, CA – January 22, 2025 – At a time when recovery and rebuilding efforts following the devastating 2025 wildfires are estimated to cost tens of billions of dollars, Hollywood is uniting for a day-long celebration of community. MultiCon will serve as a Los Angeles Wildfire Benefit for the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and will take place on February 22, 2025, at The Preserve LA, bringing together fandoms, celebrities, content creators, and fans to raise vital funds for the recovery of Los Angeles. At this pivotal moment, MultiCon offers fans a chance to use their collective energy and passion for a greater cause—helping to rebuild the city we love.

The first batch of celebrities donating their time is Kevin Smith (Clerks), David Dastmalchian (Late Night With The Devil), Seth Green (Family Guy, Robot Chicken), Rob Liefeld (Creator Deadpool, Cable X-Force and More), Jackie Tohn (Nobody Wants This, Glow), Daniel Logan (Star Wars), Yuri Lowenthal (Spider-Man in Playstation/ Marvel’s Spider-Man games, Naruto), Tara Platt (Naruto, League of Legends), Isaac Robinson Smith (X-Men ‘97), Monique Coleman (High School Musical), and Kaycee Stroh (High School Musical), with more to be announced.

In addition, fans will be able to make a donation to meet the celebrities and creators and get autographs and selfies, with all contributions going directly to United Way of Greater Los Angeles. Throughout the day, attendees can attend exclusive panels with celebrity talent in never-before-seen pairings hosted by some of your favorite media personalities, including Greg Alba (Reel Rejects), Coy Jandreau (DC Official Podcast/Reel Rejects), Perri Nemiroff (Collider), Katcy Stephan (Variety), Juju Green aka Straw Hat Goofy, Erik “DoA” Lonnquist, Ben Watts (IGN) who have graciously volunteered their services.

Fans who attend and those who cannot participate in person will also have access to a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items donated by celebrities and partner brands. Items include tickets to attend a Papa Roach Concert anywhere in the world, travel and accommodations donated by Papa Roach/New Noize Records, and signed items by Conan O’Brien and others.

In addition, complimentary tickets, autographs, and pictures will be provided to first responders and those displaced by the wildfires.

The event will be capped with a Nerd Dance Party hosted by Dimi with special guest performances and fun surprises. Concurrent live streams on Twitch and YouTube will be available to virtual attendees worldwide.

“Everyone knows someone whose life was turned upside down from the wildfires. We have planned this event with Multihouse to not only raise funds to help those in need but to also provide an opportunity for people to start the healing process. The Preserve LA with its 6,500 plants and trees seemed to be the perfect place where we can all come together to start the healing process,” said Larry Bond, Chairman of Bond Companies and the developer of The Preserve LA.

“Los Angeles is the greatest city in the world, and our resilience knows no bounds. As we recover and rebuild, we will do so through the power of community, imagination, and storytelling. MultiCon unites the best of Hollywood and is a reminder that we’re more than just an industry; we’re a community of working-class dreamers and doers who care for one another and will roll up their sleeves when our neighbors need help.” said Michael Tessler, CEO of Multihouse and the event’s producer.

“We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to partner with Bond Companies and Multihouse for this event. Now more than ever, our work at United Way of Greater Los Angeles is critical - this recovery will take years, but we want our community to know we’ll be with them every step of the way,” said Elise Buik, CEO of United Way of Greater Los Angeles.

General admission tickets for the event will start at $35 and VIP tickets at $100. All are sold through our sponsor ticket vendor Seetickets.com, the premiere LA-based ticketing agency, beginning NOW!
