In celebration of spring break, summer and the holiday seasons, Magic Mountain will be open daily for select periods including March 7­­–April 28, May 16–Aug. 18, Nov. 21–Dec. 1 and Dec. 12–Jan. 4, 2026.

The 2025 events lineup includes:

• DC Heroes and Villains (Fridays and Saturdays, June 20–July 12) — Join the ultimate summer showdown of DC Heroes versus Villains, featuring exclusive character appearances, live entertainment, and more! Located in DC UNIVERSE starting at 5 p.m.

Reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread, Butterbeer is a favorite amongst witches and wizards. It is currently available for purchase in an array of scrumptious options, including cold, frozen, hot and non-dairy beverages, along with Butterbeer fudge, potted cream and ice cream.
 
This year’s celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will introduce an all-new Butterbeer Cream Puff just for the season, available at the Three Broomsticks™, where guests can also savor frozen or cold Butterbeer in a limited-edition Gold Souvenir Stein. Additionally, a Butterbeer-Flavoured Chocolate Bar and Butterbeer Caramel will be available at retail locations and the Ice Lolly frozen dessert makes a delicious return. This tempting ice bar will now be available year-round.
 
A bespoke Butterbeer themed merchandise collection will also take centerstage as part of Butterbeer Season. Universal City, California, February 25, 2025 – Guests and fans of Universal Pictures’ blockbuster hit Wicked will have a chance to rejoicify with Wicked characters, Elphaba and Glinda, when they make their West Coast theme park debut as part of Universal Studios Hollywood’s imaginative all-new, after-hours, separately ticketed event, Universal Fan Fest Nights, beginning Friday, April 25, 2025.
 
Tickets are now on sale and are selling fast for the inaugural event which takes place on the following dates: April 25-27; May 2-4, 9-11 and 15-18, 2025.
 
The Elphaba and Glinda characters, fully adorned in familiar costumes from the film, will greet guests at the theme park’s existing vibrant Wicked themed photo op, currently situated near the main entrance. As guests make their way into Universal Fan Fest Nights, they can look forward to defying gravity with these two popular characters.
 
The Feature Presentation store located within the theme park will offer guests a memorable Wicked experience with its large collection of exclusive Wicked inspired merchandise, from elevated apparel, home goods and accessories to toys and more.
 
Launching exclusively at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Fan Fest Nights will feature all-new, uniquely curated experiences inspired by sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and anime. Guests will really go there as they tap into their inner fandom and join forces with their favorite characters while sharing their enthusiasm with like-minded fans. They will also have a chance engage in cosplay (subject to Cosplay Costume Guidelines) while experiencing such renowned favorites as Star Trek, Back to the Future, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. Additionally, theme park favorites, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ will offer special additions and introduce character and interactive elements during Universal Fan Fest Nights.
 
All in-world experiences and activations will be included every event night for guests to enjoy when they attend Universal Fan Fest Nights (subject to change).
 
An energetic block party will invite fans across every genre to share their passions and enthusiasm in fandom celebration, and an array of interactive activations will take place throughout the theme park, including live entertainment, cosplay and photo opportunities.
Here’s what guests and fans can expect at Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025:
 

• Star Trek: Red Alert—Inspired by the Star Trek universe that has entertained millions of fans, this daring walk-through experience will boldly take guests on an immersive adventure aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D on a mission to prevent an interstellar threat. Guests will find themselves transported to the year 2403, just as an otherworldly entity wreaks havoc on the ship. As the chaos ensues, guests will venture further into the Enterprise, navigating familiar Star Trek environments, from the ship’s engineering room to transporter pads, to the soul of the Starship Enterprise, the bridge—an original set piece featured in the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard—in a desperate quest to stop the perceived danger and restore peace aboard the ship. Laden with special effects, audio-visual effects, multi-sensory activations and themed performers, this all-original experience will create an unforgettable, awe-inspiring moment that will elevate Star Trek fandom to new levels.

 

• Back to the Future: Destination Hill Valley—This nostalgic experience is based on the 1985 Back to the Future blockbuster movie and invites guests to time travel back to 1955 Hill Valley alongside the film’s iconic characters. Time travel begins the moment guests climb aboard the Studio Tour “Fan Tram” and venture towards Courthouse Square, the original filming location for this classic film located on the Universal Studios world famous backlot.

 
Brimming with authenticity, Back to the Future: Destination Hill Valley will pay homage to this groundbreaking film by inserting guests into many familiar scenes with iconic props. From Hill Valley with the original Lyon Estate monuments to the Time Machine on display, guests will have the sensation of going back in time as they partake in the energetic recreation of the Enchantment Under the Sea dance and Hill Valley Festival plus experience a stunning recreation of the Clock Tower lightning strike, sending Marty back to the future multiple times each event night. 
 

• DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Secrets of Waterdeep—Inspired by the World’s Greatest Roleplaying Game™, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (D&D), this epic experience will welcome guests and fans to partake in a one-of-a-kind adventure and explore the fantastic world of D&D. Guests will join the Harpers—a heroic spy network—to foil a plot by the legendary beholder Xanathar and save the city of Waterdeep.

 
In creating this unique experience, Universal Studios Hollywood is collaborating with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop to create the legendary beholder Xanathar that will come to life within DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Secrets of Waterdeep. For over 40 years, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop has been a world-renowned innovator in puppetry, animatronics and digital animation.
 

• One Piece: Grand Pirate Gathering—This unique experience is inspired by the long-running global hit anime series, One Piece, from creator Eiichiro Oda, that follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew, including Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji, on their quest to find “One Piece,” the legendary treasure of the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger.  The Grand Pirate Gathering will transport guests into the series’ fictional world of pirates through an immersive and interactive experience, complete with iconic visuals and scenic environments that place fans at the heart of the action. Guests will also have time to enjoy uplifting meet and greet opportunities with different characters and as well as participate in themed interactive photo ops.

 

• Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed—This anime experience, inspired by a widely popular Japanese manga and its anime adaptation, follows high school student Yuji Itadori after he accidently becomes the host of a powerful curse and joins Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses. This epic adventure will be transformed into an exciting film-based experience, which first debuted at Universal Studios Japan.

 

• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Guests and fans will have a chance to further engage in the theme park’s immersive land with all-new magical creature interactions, including the opportunity to meet the Niffler, a Baby Dragon and grand Occamy. The centerpiece of the experience will feature the visually spectacular Hogwarts™ Always light projection show designed to take guests on a whimsical journey through a school year at Hogwarts. Weaving together unforgettable music and incredible moments of wizardry, Hogwarts Always will shine bright as it comes to life set against the majestic backdrop of Hogwarts™ castle.

 

• SUPER NINTENDO WORLD: Let’s Go, Yoshi—This exciting addition to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD will mark the debut of beloved fan favorite Yoshi as a brand new meet and greet character within the land during Universal Fan Fest Nights. As part of Yoshi’s welcome to the land, guests will have a chance to interact with Yoshi as they engage in a scavenger hunt to locate all five colorful Yoshi eggs.  After completing this original quest, guests will reap the benefit of a very special reward with the unique opportunity to meet a different colored Yoshi. Plus, guests will be treated to celebratory drone moments that will illuminate the night sky throughout the evening.

 

• WICKED—This engaging meet and greet opportunity will feature the first-ever addition to Universal Studios Hollywood of the Elphaba and Glinda characters from Universal Pictures’ blockbuster movie.

BUENA PARK, Calif. – This year’s Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is a little sweeter! Southern California’s first theme park is marking its 10th anniversary of the beloved festival that celebrates the famous berry with more than 80 savory and sweet boysenberry menu items, a new line-up of shows, live music, 10th anniversary merchandise, and a wide selection of local crafters and artisans. Knott’s Boysenberry Festival operates daily from March 28 through April 27.
 
Cheers to 10 Years with Boysenberry Beer
There’s no better way to celebrate 10 years of the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival than experiencing more than 80 signature boysenberry menu offerings. New savory items include “The Stack” boysenberry BBQ pulled pork over boysenberry corn bread and coleslaw, French toast stuffed with boysenberry cream cheese, and Thai crunch peanut salad with boysenberry peanut dressing. New sweet treats include boysenberry cheesecake crisp pie, a vegan white chocolate and boysenberry tart, and a boysenberry ice cream sandwich. Returning favorites include boysenberry elote, boysenberry honey garlic chicken wings, and boysenberry sausage on a hoagie. Guests can wash it down with one of the many boysenberry drinks such as a boysenberry sangria, boysenberry and lavender lemonade, boysenberry tequila smash and so much more. New Boysenberry Entertainment 
No boysenberry festival is complete without a boysenberry pie eating contest, and this year has a twist. The NEW Boysen Bear’s Pie Kitchen Games in Calico Park invites guests to help thwart those sneaky coyote pups, Moxie and Brawny, from stealing all the pies! Once they save the day, they can celebrate on the Calico Mine Stage at the Boysen Bear’s Pie Eating Contest. The adventures continue at the Birdcage Theatre with The Great Bank Robbery, an all-new show that will have the audience cheering the hero and booing the villain.
 
Knott's Preserved is back as guests are taken on a musical journey from the little ghost town of Calico to the Seaside Boardwalk of the Roaring '20s to commemorate the park's heritage. Also returning is Old MacDonald's Barn, a tribute to one of the farm's original attractions. Guests of all ages can enjoy the cutest critters on the farm, including horses, goats, and other furry friends. At the History of the Boysenberry Museum at Town Hall, guests can learn all about the little berry that had a big impact on the Knott family and Southern California. In the streets of Ghost Town, the yearly Boysenberry Festival Crafts Fair will be back in full swing with unique boysenberry-inspired artisan products from over two dozen local craft vendors. Universal City, California, February 24, 2025 – Universal Studios Hollywood invites guests and fans of the Fast & Furious franchise to experience “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” one last time before the world-famous Studio Tour attraction closes on March 10, 2025. A thrilling new experience will arrive at Universal Studios Hollywood when “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” launches as the destination’s first-ever, high-speed outdoor roller coaster in 2026.
 
“Fast & Furious—Supercharged,” inspired by the popular Fast & Furious franchise, launched in 2015 as the grand finale to the Studio Tour and has entertained millions of guests, taking them on an exhilarating, virtual high-speed 3D chase to save one of their own from an international crime cartel.
             
The closure of this attraction will pave the way for an exciting all-new Studio Tour attraction to be announced soon.

Los Angeles, CA – February 7, 2025 – The countdown is on for MultiCon – The Los Angeles Wildfire Benefit, taking place on February 22nd at The Preserve. Today, the event organizers are thrilled to announce the second wave of celebrity guests for this star-studded benefit to support the United Way of Greater Los Angeles.

Joining the already impressive lineup of talent will be:

The event is set to bring together a host of renowned actors, creators, and fans to raise critical funds for wildfire recovery efforts across Los Angeles. MultiCon will feature meet-and-greets, panel discussions, and a chance for fans to interact with some of their favorite stars, with all proceeds benefiting United Way of Greater Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts.

Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are now available. A third wave of guests will be announced next week, making this a can’t-miss event for entertainment lovers and supporters of wildfire relief.

Additionally, the award-winning Don’t Tell Comedy will be putting on an exclusive MultiCon After Dark performance alongside musical talent from So Far Sounds. Attendees will also have the chance to enjoy a special Fork n’ Film showing. These tickets will be sold separately with details and surprise celebrity appearances to be announced soon. 

Golden Apple Comics is sponsoring and has provided some one-of-a-kind auction items, including a rare Stan Lee and Rob Liefeld co-autographed piece as well as a variety of rare signed comics and collectibles. 

Off Brand Games is sponsoring and has provided the exclusive gaming license for the event for their hit brawl game Rivals of Aether II. 

Additionally, Fantasy Flight Games and their Star Wars: Unlimited will be sponsoring and presenting an exclusive activation for their beloved card game.

Los Angeles, CA - Southern California’s largest “Halfway-to-Halloween” celebration gets extra dark with the addition of more night time hours, when Spooky Swap Meet V returns to Heritage Square Museum Los Angeles from Friday evening, April 25 through Sunday the 27th. 

Featuring 60+ vendors selling a mix of used Halloween decor and props and new merchandise, Spooky Swap Meet has sold out each day of the event since its start in 2021. “The evening hours were a hit last year with vendors and attendees alike so we added more, " states Claire Dunlap, producer and co-creator.  On both Friday and Saturday the event will run until 10pm, allowing for even spookier shopping and trick-r-treating.

Spooky Swap Meet features leading Halloween brands Trick or Treat Studios, and Strangecvlt, as well as convention and online favorites Tee No Evil, Backstitch Bruja, SpooksieBoo and Kreepsville 666 selling selections of new and gently used items including gothic furnishings, Halloween inspired decor, baked goods, apparel, props, and more. Fortune telling and food will also be available for purchase.

Guests of all ages are also encouraged to trick-or-treat for real candy at Heritage Square's seven Victorian era manors, whose exteriors have been decorated and “spooked up” for the weekend by a curated selection of professional and amateur haunted attraction designers including LA Haunted Hayride, A Mr. He Slasher, Sanatorium Emporium, Stagefright Theater, Samhain’s Restless Farm and more. Guests are also invited to see live performances by the Little Ghoul’s ethereal duet The Satin Puppets! Live shows and walk-thru haunted experiences are also a part of the offerings for SSM 2025.

Tickets go on sale Saturday February 8, 2025 at www.spookyswapmeet.com. Spooky Swap Meet will be open Friday, April 25, 5pm-10pm; Saturday, April 26, 1pm-10pm; and Sunday, April 27, 10am-5pm.

General admission starts at $22 for timed entries throughout the weekend, with a first access “Ghost Getter” ticket allowing exclusive access the first hour on Friday for $32, when ticket buyers will be the first to have access to the one of a kind treasures brought in by vendors. Early birds get the one of a kind treasures!

The event entrance is located at 3510 Pasadena Ave (the "back" entry to the museum), with free parking across the street at Metro Gold Lot, Heritage Square Station. Parking at Metro lot is free, first come, first served and limited. Neighborhood street parking is also available.There will also be some VIP parking spots available for pre-purchase only ($30). There will be no entry or parking from the Homer Street side except for ADA with placards (limited first come, first served) and VIP parking pass holders. VIP parking lot and entrance located at 3800 Homer St. No parking sales on site.
