LOS ANGELES, CA - (August 26, 2019) Drunken Devil prepares to bring its high-level themed parties and decadent dining experiences to the 2019 Halloween season with three thrilling and chilling events: To Live and Di(n)e in LA, Bloody Brunch, and Black Magick. The hit true crime-inspired supper club, To Live and Di(n)e in LA, returns to celebrate its 2-year anniversary with a special two-night seating. The true crime inspired show, which debuted in September 2017 at Think Tank Gallery’s Drinkin’, Smokin’, and West Coastin’ art show, has evolved over the years to the high-demand dining experience. At this haunting dinner party, guests sit down with the ghosts of infamous LA true crime figures including Charles Manson, Elizabeth Short, and Richard Ramirez. Guests will enjoy a decadent four-course meal, each representing a different figure and time period, along with paired cocktails and free-flowing wine. Between courses, guests will enjoy themed performances, driving the narrative as they explore LA’s sordid history through cuisine and cocktails. This intimate immersive dining experience will have two seatings across Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd with a limited amount of seats available each night. Programming is identical both nights. On Saturday, October 5th, Drunken Devil’s new spooky morning romp, Bloody Brunch, returns to El Cid in Silverlake for another morning of ghostly variety acts by some of Los Angeles' top performers. LA’s first and only horror-themed brunch, Bloody Brunch is a theatrical experience, inspired by kitschy horror TV specials of the 60s and 70s, and hosted by a pair of delightfully devious, yet campy characters based on icons like Vampira and Vincent Price. Guests can imbibe on themed cocktails (designed specifically for the show) as well as classic brunch fare like mimosas and bloody marys, enjoy delicious food, and are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. In tradition of hosting a Halloween party, Drunken Devil will present Black Magick on Saturday, October 19th, which will whisk guests back to the height of the Golden Age of Magic, the 1920s. Guests will meet a host of characters inspired by famous magicians like Houdini, Thurston, and Carter, and be plunged into a dark narrative inspired by the mythology surrounding Old Hollywood’s ties to the occult. An open bar featuring a slew of magic-themed cocktails, wine, and beer, tantalizing burlesque acts, roaming magicians, tarot readers, live jazz, and a late-night dance party all await at this wildly theatrical Halloween experience. Guests are invited to dress up in theme as they experience an evening of enchantment, mystery, and horror.
