Episode 22 – Knott’s Scary Farm Scare School Media Preview

This time Shawn, takes us behind the scenes of the recent Knott’s Scary Farm media event. First, he got a front row seat at Scare School for the popular Dominion of the Damned maze. Next, we go to wardrobe and make-up where we learn a little about what it takes to clothe 1,000 monsters a night. From there, Knott’s historian Ted Dougherty gives a brief history lesson on the grandfather of all haunts. Lastly, we wrap up with one more round of Scare School as it’s back in session for Pinocchio Unchained. All of this, plus fish tacos and a food truck on this episode of Parks and Cons.

Episode 21 – Halloween and Oswald Come to Disneyland and We Go To Club 33

This time, we're talking nothing but Disney. First, we get as spooky as Disneyland allows as we detail all the Halloween fun that has taken over the park for the season. Jack Skellington has taken over the Haunted Mansion and Mickey has brought some magical friend to Big Thunder Ranch. Then we move from Halloween to history as DCA welcomes Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to his new home on Buena Vista Street. And we close the show by talking about a very special trip (are there any other kind?) to the newly redesigned Club 33. It's been a big week at the Disneyland Resort and we're sharing it all here.

Episode 20 - G.I. Joe Fan Expo, SoCal Toy Report, & Park Hopping Disney, Universal, & Knott's

This time we've got three fun segments that cover three of our favorite things: cons, collecting and theme parks. First, Shawn makes a trip to Frank and Son Collectible Show for another one of their mini cons. Celebrating G.I. Joes 50th anniversary, the Fan Expo brought fans from all over Southern California to go "yo" for "Joe." Next, we talk about what we're finding on shelves and pegs with a rundown on the SoCal Toy Report. Lastly, Shawn hits the parks to share what he's finding, and what's coming up, at Universal Studios, Disneyland, DCS, Downtown Disney and Knott's Berry Farm. This show hits on all the things we love most! Hope you do too!
