After spending a year at the Los Angeles Convention Center, due to construction taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center, WonderCon Anaheim, 2017 returned to the Anaheim Convention Center, March 31 - April 2, 2017.
Because of construction taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center, WonderCon 2016 took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, on March 25 - 27, 2016.
After 15 years as a Bay Area event, WonderCon moved to Anaheim in 2012, due to construction at its San Francisco home, the Moscone Center. In 2013, the event — now called Comic-Con International Presents WonderCon Anaheim — was held in southern California, as WonderCon organizers were unable to secure dates in San Francisco at Moscone Center.
