Los Angeles April 17, 2017—Acclaimed Stunt Coordinator, Stuntman Director and Actor Jeff Pruitt (Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 1-3) and his wife Sophia Crawford, who was Sarah Michelle Gellar's fight and stunt double seasons of 1-4 of Buffy have joined the impressive lineup of Fandom Charities Inc.® WhedonCon 2017, the three-day con run by fans for fans celebrating the works of Joss Whedon and the talented people of the Whedonverse that raises money for charity. Pruitt is also known for his work on Power Rangers and Alias. Sophia Crawford is a martial artist and action actress who is also known as the Pink Ranger from Power Rangers. Pruitt and Crawford will be showcasing some special content for WhedonCon attendees. Actor, stunt coordinator Steve Tartalia who was James Marsters stunt double on Buffy, have also joined the WhedonCon lineup. The second annual WhedonCon celebration takes place May 19-21 at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills, CA.

This event is organized by the same team which hosts the Buffy Musical in San Diego Comic Con and the Dr. Horrible Sing-Alongs at WonderCon and on Halloween in Los Angeles. This year in memory of Ron Glass (Firefly, Serenity, Barney Miller) Fandom Charities will be raising funds for the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, a youth center that was dear to his heart.
